The role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business stakeholders and technical teams for critical platform uplift projects.
You will be responsible for understanding business needs, eliciting and documenting requirements, and ensuring that the solutions effectively support our strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize costs.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency industry best-practice business analysis techniques (e.g., requirements elicitation, process, use case development, user story writing, acceptance criteria definition).
Proven ability to solve complex business and technical problems, lead sophisticated process modeling (as-is, to-be), conduct thorough user needs analysis, and drive impactful process improvements.
Experience leading others in complex problem-solving and business analysis processes.
Experience with backend platform projects and a solid grasp of backend systems, data and analytics.
Ability to collaborate with Engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
Expertise in managing scope and scope changes across a backlog, with a keen awareness of the impact of any changes on project timelines, budget
Experience working effectively within Agile/Scrum methodologies and using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Ability to deliver clear, well-structured, and concise arguments to support opinions and recommendations.
Strong facilitation skills, capable of guiding diverse teams (technical, business, leadership) to consensus on scope, design, and implementation decisions for projects.
Ability to build trust quickly and foster positive, influential relationships with client stakeholders, internal teams, and partner stakeholders, leading these relationships where appropriate.
