* Manage and coach staff to ensure they are meeting their key deliverables and proactively address performance issues.
* Develop and expand the knowledge of the team, including taking a lead mentoring role for Project Coordinators.
Site Management
* Manage the site construction activities to ensure the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external).
* Ensuring that all processes comply with approved procedures, work method statements & safety management plans.
* Thoroughly understand and monitor trade scope of works, programme and the relevant components within the tender process.
* Inform the Project Manager of issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations and recommend changes in design details.
* Maintain professional relationships with clients and their representatives, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, delegates, and consultants.
Work, Health and Safety
* Operate sites with a best practice approach to health and safety by observing, demonstrating and enforcing safe work practices.
* Ensuring and managing compliance with environmental legislation, regulations, licensing conditions and sound work practices.
* Ensure that site setup is maintained in accordance with the code of practice.
To be successful, you will need:
* 5 + years' experience as a Site Manager.
* Experience in detail‑orientated bespoke projects.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
* Comprehensive understanding of the building codes and guidelines.
* Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.
* Proven experience effectively managing a team including sub-contractors.
* Good understanding of health and safety requirements and their application.
* Previous exposure to Procore is an advantage.
