Key Responsibilities
* Conducting assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
* Implementing evidence-based therapy interventions to achieve client-specific goals.
* Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and holistic treatment approaches.
* Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers regarding speech pathology interventions and strategies.
Qualifications And Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
* Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or eligibility for registration.
* Proven clinical experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders across various age groups.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current practices in speech pathology.
Desirable Skills
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of relevant therapeutic techniques and technologies in speech pathology.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
