The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair cutting, colouring, and styling.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while helping clients achieve their desired looks.
The annual salary for this job is $76,600 to $77,000.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on hair care, beauty products, and styling options.
- Shampoo and condition clients' hair and scalp for optimal health.
- Perform hair colouring, straightening, and permanent waving using professional chemical solutions.
- Cut and shape hair using scissors, clippers, and razors to achieve desired styles.
- Style hair into braids, dreadlocks, and apply hair extensions as requested.
- Trim and shave beards and moustaches for well-groomed appearances.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitising work areas and sterilising tools.
- Manage client appointments and handle payment transactions.
- Clean, colour, cut, and style wigs and hairpieces when required.
- Offer personalised consultations to clients, recommending haircuts and treatments based on hair type, face shape, and personal style.
- Execute haircuts, trims, and styling services with precision to meet clients' preferences.
- Maintain and update client records, including hairstyle preferences, treatments, and product recommendations for future visits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Hairdresser.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedule.
