The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Training System Integrator to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Support team.This is an excellent opportunity be a part of the future growth of the MRO workforce, providing Apprentice Management and MRO Resourcing (Workforce Planner) initiatives.
The role is based at RAAF Base Amberley, however provides support to all BDA programs with the MRO capability across Australia and as such periodic travel will be required.
**Responsibilities**:
Apprentice Management
- Support recruitment and mentoring/monitoring of apprentices with Line Mangers
- Engagement with Apprentice Network Providers (ANP) and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
- Scheduling block release and exam activities with RTOs
- Acting as an examination invigilator on behalf of Industry RTOs
MRO Military Aircraft Maintenance Licensing & Upskilling
- Manage and oversee the Military Aviation Maintenance Licence (MAML) process
- Engaging with RTOs to identify appropriate training requirements
- Raise training requests on behalf of MRO personnel
MRO Resourcing
- Represent BDA at RTO and industry events
- Analyse current and future Resourcing needs and implement strategic initiatives to support workforce requirements
Experience/Qualifications
- Well-developed understanding of Aeroskills Training Package
- Experience and knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) or relatable industry equivalent
- Strong and effective stakeholder engagement with the ability to build strong working relationships - RTOs, ANPs, Apprentices and Line Mangers
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Aeroskills or other relevant trade background (desirable)
- NV1 clearance or ability to obtain
