Your Role
As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated Warehouse Operators (Forklift Drivers) to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in safely and efficiently handling cotton bales, operating machinery, and preparing shipments.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain warehouse machinery (loader, forklift, sweeper). Conduct routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance to ensure safety and performance.
* Load and unload incoming and outgoing bale and container trucks efficiently, and build bale loads in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with mass, dimension, and load restraint requirements for heavy vehicles.
* Communicate vehicle movements via UHF and assist in directing traffic in line with site traffic management plans. Ensure safe loading and unloading of trucks.
* Support Warehouse Leading Hand and Supervisor to direct traffic in the warehouse precinct in accordance with traffic management plan/s.
* Operate company systems (e.g., SAP and warehouse applications) and maintain accurate records.
* Provide support for DAFF Authorized Officer inspections of containers and cotton bales.
Skills and Qualifications
* At least one (1) year of relevant experience operating/loading equipment and packing containers in a warehouse or industrial environment, preferably with agricultural commodities
* Proven ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery, including forklifts
* Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance (advantageous)
* Ability to use company data systems and troubleshoot when required
* Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce site safety procedures
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Valid driver's licence (required)
* Valid forklift licence (required)
* Knowledge of safety legislation
* Willingness to undertake training for DAFF Authorized Officer accreditation (at company expense)
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum depending on experience
