Role Overview:
This is a unique opportunity for a multi-talented marketing professional to shape the future of our brand. You'll be the cornerstone of our internal marketing function, responsible for bringing together the various facets of marketing—visual, social, graphic, and web
You'll lead the charge on creative campaigns, deliver standout graphics, manage social media platforms, and coordinate with key internal stakeholders, all while operating independently in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is for someone who's not only a creative thinker but also a doer—ready to roll up their sleeves, get hands-on with design tools, and build the internal marketing capability of Billy Hyde Music.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies across visual, social media, digital, and web platforms to grow brand awareness and sales.
Design and deliver high-quality graphics, promotional materials, and digital assets for campaigns, in-store displays, social media, and online channels.
Oversee and manage all social media accounts, including content planning, scheduling, posting, community engagement, and performance reporting.
Collaborate with web developers and the sales team to ensure the website is aligned with marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand messaging.
Work closely with store managers, sales teams, and suppliers to develop campaigns that resonate with our customer base and enhance the retail experience.
As the foundation of our internal marketing team, you will be instrumental in shaping future team growth and ensuring seamless collaboration across functions.
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to refine strategies and identify opportunities for brand growth.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Strong background in marketing strategy, content creation, and digital marketing.
Proven graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
Knowledge of website Magento CMS platforms is a plus, but not essential.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Passion for music, musical instruments, or the creative arts also a plus, but not essential.

Leadership & Collaboration: Describe your experience in leading projects or teams. How do you engage with internal stakeholders, such as sales teams or suppliers, to deliver cohesive marketing outcomes?
Working Independently: Provide an example of when you have worked autonomously in a fast-paced environment. How did you manage competing priorities?
Feedback & Recommendations: After reviewing our current marketing activities (social media, website, promotions), please provide feedback on what you believe we are doing well and outline key recommendations on how you would grow our brand, sales, and business through marketing initiatives.
