The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Controller / Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on developing and implementing advanced strategies for optimising spare part inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset to enhance uptime and support our company's growth objectives.
The Accountabilities
* Actively monitor the workplace to determine presence of hazards and take appropriate action to rectify any hazards found.
* Ensure cleanliness and functionality of all inventory to uphold quality standards; proactively collaborate with the quality team for necessary improvements.
* Liaise with all stakeholders (Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling team) to define best spare parts management strategy
* Generate comprehensive inventory and stock control reports.
* Provide coaching to the engineering and maintenance teams on optimal utilisation of spare parts
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can't make Campbell's Chicken Stock without chicken, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
* Professional & Technical background in mechanical or electrical areas
* Previous experience with SAP highly desirable
* Flexible attitude with ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Strong communication skills, adept at working with stakeholders.
* Strategic view of highly automated Warehouse / Production environments
