Our client is a well-established financial services organisation who specialise in originating and funding commercial loans to Australian borrowers.
They are growing substantially (30% YoY growth), with new offices opening within key regions across Australia.
With over 40 years of real estate experience, the firm provides predominantly construction loans, as well as residual stock, site acquisition, mezzanine, preferred equity, home and warehouse loans.
Their average ticket size is about $10-50mio, however, they do have capacity to lend up to $150mio in bilateral facilities.
Due to continued growth in the sector and business, this organisation is looking to hire an Investment Analyst to support the General Manager/Head of Origination.
This is a critical role that will perform research, origination, structuring, execution, distribution and ongoing portfolio management for private credit transactions.
This includes taking responsibility for the following: financial modelling, credit paper writing, borrower strength assessing and relationship management with developers and brokers.
In time, there is also potential for this person to develop into an origination role.
The ideal candidate will come with 1-4 years of experience from a commercial bank or real estate private credit fund.
You must have experience in property finance, a robust attention to detail and strong multitasking/organisation skills.
