Overview
Part-time (0.82 FTE) position for 6 weeks (starting in July) at Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC) Melbourne, a leading ELC-Year 12 Christian independent school offering both the VCE and International Baccalaureate.

PLC's Health and Physical Education program uses extensive state-of-the-art facilities to support student learning outcomes. The Joan Montgomery Centre (JMC), opened in 2025, is a modern physical education and fitness centre that supports the health and wellbeing of students.
The Role
This is a wonderful, part-time (0.82 FTE) opportunity for a Health and Physical Education Teacher to step into a short-term leave cover position at PLC.
The engagement period is for 6 weeks, commencing 13 July 2026 through until Friday 21 August 2026.
The incumbent will teach Health and Physical Education across Years 7-10. They will also support teaching within the "Empowered Changemakers" program, which aims to increase creativity, independence and foster authentic learning experiences outside the classroom.
About You
You will be a qualified, experienced Health and Physical Education Teacher, or recent graduate, with a passion for teaching senior students, particularly across Years 7-10.
You are someone that our students and staff will look up to, ensuring that PLC programs are of a high standard and that a cohesive approach to health and physical education is shared across the College.
In your teaching and learning practice, you will encourage a culture of success and enjoyment of learning, and be committed to ensuring each student has access to a positive and enriching educational experience.
