**The Role**
As part of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with personal care including showering
- Supporting residents with meals
- Contributing to care planning with registered staff
- Documenting care and services provided to residents
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities
- The role is classified as a Care Service Employee under the Southern Cross Care ( NSW & ACT) Enterprise Agreement 2017 -2020 and the base rate of pay ranges from $22.67 to 25.13 per hour ( depending on experience) plus shifts and weekend penalties, superannuation and NFP benefits.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or willingness to attain)
- Genuine enthusiasm, care, and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
