Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training)

Right now, we're working on datasets focused on cloud security — and we need practitioners who understand how cloud environments actually fail in the real world, not just in theory. This is a remote, flexible contract role where your expertise directly shapes how AI reasons about cloud security risks.

What You'll Do
* Analyze real‐world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns
* Review IAM policies, networking configurations, storage settings, and container security issues
* Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud‐related failures based on real‐world impact and blast radius
* Evaluate and improve AI‐generated security reasoning to ensure it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
* Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems reason more accurately about cloud threats
Who You Are
* 2+ years of hands‐on experience working with cloud environments in production
* Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security across one or more major providers
* Experience encountering or responding to real‐world misconfigurations and security incidents
* Ability to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact
* Strong written communication skills ‐ you can explain complex security concepts clearly
Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud security tooling (e.g., Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub)
* Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or incident response
* Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, or PCI‐DSS
* Prior experience contributing to AI training or evaluation projects
