What you'll be responsible for
* Lead operational excellence by ensuring compliance with regulations, environmental licenses, and industry standards while optimising resource allocation and efficiency
* Oversee CAPEX/OPEX projects, manage operational budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives to drive business growth and improvement
* Champion workplace safety through the 'Always Safe Charter', ensuring comprehensive risk management, incident reporting, and safety training programs
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government authorities, community members, and internal teams
* Manage administrative processes, validate contractor qualifications, and ensure proper purchasing and supplier management protocols
* Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, financial reporting, and strategic business development initiatives while maintaining environmental compliance
What you'll need to be successful
* Extensive experience in waste management operations
* Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Financial management and budgeting expertise
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental responsibility
