We are looking for skilled Floor Finisher’s to join our Team, this position will work across multiple locations including Perth Metro, North West and the South West. This is a full-time position.
To be considered for the position you must be competent in the following skills:
Duties and responsibilities:
- Read and interpret design plans.
- Ensure subfloor and surface is level, clean and dry.
- Remove imperfections and smooth wood.
- Measures surfaces, cut, prepare and install floor covering such as Carpet, wooden floors, vinyl, laminate.
- Finish flooring such as sanding, staining, polishing, applying sealant, topcoat, or any other finishing techniques.
- Install trim and/or molding.
- Examine floors and remove excess glue after process.
- Apply sealant using brushes or rollers, often applying multiple coats.
- Tidy and remove excess materials, ensure floors are ready to use.
- Adhere by safety regulations and industry standards.
Skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
