We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Darwin Store in a Permanent Full Time position.
The Darwin opening hours are Monday to Friday (NO nights)
Responsibilities
* Customer service and processing sales
* Tinting and mixing of paint
* Working with the team to achieve store targets
* Being customer focused by providing an exceptional customer service
* Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
* Using pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
* Support Store Manager with admin related tasks and other duties as required
Qualifications
* 3–5 years previous retail experience
* Looking for the chance to move into a leadership role – Training provided
* Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales and KPI goals
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
* Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Team player looking to develop their retail career into a leadership role in a company that offers development and growth to its employees
* Knowledge of the paint industry could be helpful; however, being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must
