Aviation Rescue Fire Fighters Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to become a vital part of Australia's aviation industry. As an Aviation Rescue Fire Fighter, you will be stationed at one of the country's 27 airport fire stations, dedicated to responding to any aerodrome-related emergency.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for responding to aircraft incidents, maintaining trucks and the fire station, providing first aid, offering fire safety advice, and being prepared for any emergency situation.
Requirements
* Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
* Completed Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (Year 10/12).
* Current, unrestricted driver's license (with the ability to obtain a heavy rigid license).
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HTLAID014) at time of commencement on Recruit Course.
* Physically and mentally fit (must pass a physical aptitude test which includes a beep test with a pass score of 9.1 and aviation medical assessment).
* Ability to work well in a team, think quickly under pressure, and make logical decisions in critical situations.
