Job Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time position within our busy production team. The role involves working rotating day and afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently operate print presses to maximize speed and quality while minimizing downtime.
* Lead Printer Assistants to ensure they meet or exceed production standards for output and set up allowance.
* Communicate issues that arise during and between shifts.
* Promote continuous improvement.
* Perform housekeeping duties and other ad hoc tasks as part of a site production team.
* Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
About the Role:
* A qualified printer with 3+ years' experience in flexographic press printing.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork, and collaboration.
* The ability to work under pressure and display attention to detail, particularly in strong color and quality control.
* A performance-driven attitude, adaptability to changes in the workplace, and a willingness to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.
* Maintain safe working practices adhering to safety policies and procedures.
