They embrace innovation and improvement with a pioneering spirit and work as trusted partners to create better solutions and experiences for customers, communities, and colleagues.About the Role:The focus of this role is to plan and provide a constant overview of service, direct drivers and plant staff to ensure customer service requirements are achieved on time and efficient deliveries of concrete by central scheduling of the fleet whilst reacting to jobsite and demand changes.You will be responsible for: * Ensure efficient and effective daily scheduling and oversee dispatching of deliveries to meet customer service requirements * Reviewing the daily delivery schedule and oversee dispatching of deliveries to customers * Maximising truck load sizes to achieve utilisation targets from the most economical batch plant whilst providing the best possible customer service.
* At all times considering cost of cartage with decision making.
* Close relationship with plant staff to ensure fleet planning to deliver the scheduled demand.About you: * Previous experience in a busy allocations, scheduling or logistics coordination role * Experience working within construction, building materials or manufacturing industries * Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to clearly communicate openly and effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels * Excellent problem-solving & conflict resolution skills are essential * Have excellent attention to detail & high-level proficiency in Google & MS Office It would be highly beneficialif you had experience in concrete, however it's not essential as full training is provided in ordering systems, product knowledge & mixes.
