Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours Program
The Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Program provides a specialist, trauma-safe and culturally safe response to children and young people who are displaying harmful sexual behaviours.
* We provide opportunities for healing, support, counselling, and a therapeutic response; working holistically with all those around the child or young person.
* The program assists children and young people and adults to recover from the harmful impacts of trauma and assists families and communities to support children and young people in the healing process.
About the Role
The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for supervision of the Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker position for the Specialist HSB Program.
Key Responsibilities
* To supervise the Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker position
* To work collaboratively within a team, and with internal and external stakeholders, to foster strong working relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Coordinator who has:
* A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families
* A Masters level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Aboriginal Studies or a related field with clinical experience is preferred
