Talent Acquisition Officer at Doltone House
Doltone Hospitality Group (DHG), home to Sydney’s most iconic event venues under the Doltone House brand, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Business Applications Manager. This critical role is designed for a tech-savvy leader who will manage, optimise, and strategically drive the use of retail applications — including POS systems — across our F&B Operations and Kitchen departments.
About the Role
As Business Applications Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of nominated systems and technologies used in daily operations across all DHG venues. This includes managing project implementations, integrations, vendor relationships, system optimisation, and stakeholder engagement — all with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee design, implementation, integration and lifecycle management of F&B applications, including POS systems
* Monitor POS performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless integration with inventory, CRM and accounting software
* Lead application-related projects from concept to completion — within scope, time, and budget.
* Drive continuous improvement across applications to ensure efficient operations and positive user experience
* Manage and optimise retail business applications across venues (POS, kitchen management and other key platforms)
* Deliver and manage training for new team members and ongoing refresher sessions for existing staff
* Develop reporting solutions to provide key operational insights and support decision-making.
* Manage/delegate support tickets and change requests, prioritise issues and business critical projects
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance) on system improvements and integrations
* Manage software and service vendor relationships, including SLAs and contract negotiation
What You Will Bring
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role managing business applications within the hospitality, retail or F&B industries is essential
* Strong expertise in POS systems and integration with related business platforms.
* Proven project management experience — from planning through to execution.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with competing priorities.
* Experience working with software vendors and IT service providers.
* Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and industry compliance requirements.
