Lead Medical Physicist Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Lead Medical Physicist.
* This is a fixed-term, full-time position that requires overseeing day-to-day physics operations and supporting new technology implementation.
* The successful candidate will occasionally assist other centres across the network.
To be eligible for this position, you must have experience with stereotactic treatments, ideally using Varian equipment. You should also have proficiency in routine physics tasks, including QA and treatment planning support.
Evidence of involvement in research and development projects is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily physics operations and implement new technologies
* Support cross-network assistance as required
Requirements:
* Eligible for ACPSEM register listing in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics (or equivalent overseas accreditation)
* Experience with stereotactic treatments using Varian equipment
* Proficiency in routine physics tasks, including QA and treatment planning support
* Evidence of involvement in research and development projects
