We're on the lookout for a reliable, experienced Casual Chef to support our Head Chef in a busy, well-loved venue on the Mornington Peninsula.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, works well in a team, and takes pride in putting up consistently good food — without the ego.
About the role
* Supporting the Head Chef with prep, service and daily kitchen operations
* Working across lunch, dinner and weekend shifts
* Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency
* Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
* Jumping in where needed — teamwork is key
About you
* Previous experience as a chef (commercial kitchen experience essential)
* Calm under pressure and efficient during service
* Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
* Reliable, punctual and well presented
* Food safety knowledge and good kitchen habits
* Available for evenings and weekends

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
