YOUR ROLE
In this key pivotal role, reporting to a top‐notch Director in their winning Business Services/Tax division, you will be the firm's 'go‐to' internal Quality Control specialist.
You will enjoy the stimulation and fulfilment of:
* Reviewing and correcting the compliance files and tax advice prepared by professional accountants (at all levels) to ensure technical accuracy, timeliness, and top‐quality client service prior to sign‐off by one of the Business Services/Tax Directors.
* Leading, mentoring, and coaching accountants.
* Assisting with coordinating work‐flows and job deliverables of accountants and managers.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
* Are CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 8‐20 plus years of hands‐on experience in a business services/tax accounting role with a chartered/CPA accounting firm.
* Have solid academics and strong technical knowledge and skills (accounting, income tax, CGT, FBT, GST, SMSFs).
* Have proven ability to autonomously manage your own portfolio of matters and clients from start to finish.
* Have led, supervised, and reviewed the work of other accountants.
* Are an outstanding communicator with proven leadership and problem‐solving skills.
* Are proactive and results‐focused, and proficient with Microsoft Office and IT systems (Bank Link, Xero, CCH, AE, and/or MYOB desirable).
* Are seeking a stable, permanent part‐time role (3 or 4 days per week) with some flexibility options, including remote working or work from home.
* Are currently living in NSW.
