WellPro Services is a privately owned Australian company operating in the Oil and Gas Well Servicing industry. We provide a range of efficient well intervention, coiled tubing, cementing and fluid pumping services to energy, resources and mining sector companies. Due to rapid expansion, we are seeking experienced coil tubing operators and coil tubing supervisors to join our team based in Roma and provide support to the Operations Manager to deliver operational work schedules that meet our clients' requirements.
We are hiring for both coil tubing operators and coil tubing supervisor positions.
Mandatory requirements:
* RII Certification/s in Well Servicing or Drilling are required
* IWCF level 3/4 is required
* Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Proven experience in coil tubing and /or drilling
* Current supervisor competencies desirable
* Hold Permit to Work Authority
* HR truck licence as a minimum (MC preferred)
Key Duties:
Coil Tubing Supervisors
* Perform and supervise coil tubing duties including oversight and mentoring of field crew
* Lead daily operational meetings to support planning and execution of work in a safe and compliant manner
* Coordinate the work roster and manage leave schedules to ensure no operational impact
* Manage plant and equipment and lead timely responses to faults or defects and rectify issues where required.
* In conjunction with HSE Officer compile compliance reporting including incident reporting, risk assessments and competency requirements
* Oversee and compile all operational reporting and documentation including SOPs, SWMS, daily activity reports and all jobs paperwork including Permit to Work and risk management controls
* Maintain current knowledge of HSE practices, procedures and legislative requirements
* Maintain accurate and timely records of operational events and maintenance activities, review operator data for completeness and accuracy.
Coil Tubing Operators
* Operate and maintain all site equipment that may include, coil tubing units, cement pumping units and associated ancillary equipment
* Assist the Supervisor to plan and organize jobs including the procurement of site-specific equipment
* Conduct operations on site to ensure execution as per job plans
* Implement maintenance schedules for all related equipment (including, BOP's, trucks, pumps engines and iron)
* Assist the Supervisor to maintain parts and spares inventory to ensure uptime for all equipment is optimized
* Supervise, train and mentor Assistant Operators and Trainees
* Review and quality assure job reports prior to submission to the Supervisor.
Key attributes:
* Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining coil tubing and ancillary equipment in a leadership capacity
* Sound understanding of complex operational processes and plant systems
* Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements
* Ability to perform under pressure while delivering commercially sound and effective outcomes
* Act as a positive role model consistently demonstrating desired behaviours and safety leadership.
