Overview
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Auto Electricians to join our high-performing team. The role involves diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) across major OEM fleets. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise in electrical and electronic systems in the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
Roster Options
Roster options include Perth-based, FIFO, or DIDO arrangements with flexible 7/7, 8/6, or 2/1 shifts.

Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostics, scheduled servicing, and breakdown repairs on electrical and electronic systems across heavy mobile plant and mining equipment
* Work on a range of OEM equipment including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Sandvik, Epiroc, and Atlas Copco
* Install, rewire, repair, and replace electrical components and harnesses on vehicles including:
o Dump trucks, dozers, graders, loaders, drills, excavators, road trucks, and water carts
* Troubleshoot and program engine, transmission, and hydraulic control systems and modules (ECMs)
* Utilise diagnostic tools and OEM software such as CAT SIS, CAT ET, Komatsu KOMTRAX, and other relevant systems
* Maintain high safety standards while working collaboratively with site supervisors, team leaders, and customers
* Accurately complete job documentation, inspections, and reports
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)
* Completed a 4-year electrical apprenticeship
* Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience working with HME or plant equipment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities across electrical and CANbus systems
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
* Valid Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
* Australian work rights (required for full-time roles)
* High-risk work licences such as LF, WP, DG, or Rigging are highly desirable
