Job Title: Functional Lead – Administration Officer
TP Human Capital is partnering with a trusted organisation to recruit an experienced administration professional for a temporary full-time position within the Resource Recovery Operations team. This temporary role will be responsible for managing a team of administrative professionals, improving workflows and ensuring high-quality service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support and informed advice to senior operational leaders on day-to-day business matters, governance activities and internal procedures.
- Support the development of the admin team through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training to build a skilled and effective business support function.
- Provide administrative support across multiple work sites as needed.
- Effectively manage a variety of administrative functions including requests, claims, procurement processes, records management, correspondence, reporting and scheduling, aligned with agreed KPIs.
- Draft and format professional documentation that reflects team objectives and accurately addresses requests or operational matters.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, decisions and recommendations using appropriate systems and in line with organisational standards.
- Supervise and coordinate administration staff, ensuring efficient processes, clear communication and timely service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years in an administration role supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
- Certificate IV in Business or similar competency.
- Ability to supervise and mentor a team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage customer requests effectively.
- Experience with administrative systems and records management (ECM, CES, Marvel, Property & Rating experience desirable).
