Client Overview
Our client is an Australian‑based dairy company that is now distributing and growing sizably internationally. They are based in Longwarry and are seeking a casual ongoing contract to start ASAP.
About the role
Standard working hours, 9‑5pm.
Responsibilities
* Sampling, preparation, testing and analysis of chemical samples and raw materials
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders via verbal and written means to communicate accurate test results
* Maintain, operate, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment correctly as required
* Housekeeping of the laboratory environment
Qualifications
* Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or similar
* Similar experience would be preferred
* Excellent computer and report writing skills
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and time‑management skills
* Must possess initiative and enthusiasm
