Our core product categories include performance protection gear, technical apparel and innovative hardware and accessory pipeline. With national retail expansion underway in 2026, Mazorca is now seeking the right distribution partner to help drive strong market penetration across Australia.
Role Description
This is a flexible, performance driven role for an experienced National Sales Distribution Specialist within the surf, fishing and dive industry. The role is hybrid, with flexibility to operate remotely, while maintaining strong engagement with retail partners and key industry accounts across Australia.
The primary objective is to drive national distribution, secure Purchase Orders, and build long term relationships with the right retail partners across metro and key regional coastal markets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and expanding national distribution across surf, fishing and dive retail channels
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with independent retailers, specialty stores and key accounts
* Executing sales strategy to achieve strong sell-through, not just sell-in
* Presenting product ranges, pricing and delivery timelines to retail buyers
* Coordinating order flow and supporting efficient distribution planning
* Providing product knowledge and positioning support to retail partners
* Identifying growth opportunities across coastal and regional markets
* Supporting the national rollout of Mazorca's core product range in 2026
Qualifications
* Proven experience within the surf, fishing or dive retail / distribution industry
* Existing relationships and access to retail doors across Australia highly preferred
* Strong sales ability with a track record of securing and growing wholesale accounts
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Strong understanding of sell-through, brand positioning and retail dynamics
* Ability to operate independently and manage national territory responsibilities
* Organised, self driven and commercially focused
* Experience with wholesale, distribution, or account management preferredFamiliarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is a plus
* Industry credibility, relationships and real distribution capability are valued more than formal qualifications.
