About the Role
Maintaining a range of transmission systems and associated infrastructure is essential to meet customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Responding effectively to on-the-job training with various team members in service restoration, corrective, and preventative maintenance of broadcast and communication equipment
* Participating in the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast and communication equipment
* Conducting performance tests on all equipment to ensure contract compliance
* Implementing appropriate service restoration actions and escalating technical issues to field callout technicians
* Providing written and verbal reports to the Network Operations Centre and carrying out office and site housekeeping and field support activities as required
Acknowledging work health and safety processes and EMR awareness is crucial.
About You
An Electronics Technician with RF experience and a background in transmission equipment maintenance is preferred.
You should possess sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with others and work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrating an ability to learn in a rapidly changing technological environment is essential for success in this role.
