We are looking for a highly capable Senior PMO Analyst to serve as a cornerstone of delivery assurance and control within our complex, fast-moving program environment. This high-visibility position is central to maintaining governance, quality, and control throughout the program lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for critical PMO activities, including: managing program risks and issues; facilitating key decision-making forums; tracking inter-program dependencies; generating essential program reporting; administering PMO tools and templates; and guaranteeing consistent application of all established standards.
You will collaborate extensively with the PMO Lead and must effectively engage, influence, and align a diverse group of technical and business stakeholders across the entirety of this large, dynamic initiative. Your ability to drive successful outcomes through strong collaboration is paramount.
Key Accountabilities
Program Assurance and Governance
* Actively manage and uphold core PMO controls and standards across all aspects of program governance and reporting. This includes supporting the full cycle for risks, issues, decisions, change control, and dependency management, from monitoring and tracking through to necessary escalation.
* Lead the scheduling and logistical coordination of major program governance committees, ensuring all high-quality status reports and briefing materials (pre-reads) are developed and distributed ahead of meetings, including the Program Steering Committee.
* Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders across all tiers to effectively guide, coach, and support their adherence to program governance protocols, tools, and standards.
Data and Performance Reporting
* Design, produce, and maintain insightful PMO Reports and Dashboards.
* Utilise advanced reporting platforms, specifically Power BI (PBI), to transform data into high-quality visualisations and concise supporting narratives for leadership decision-making.
* Provide necessary support for the creation and ongoing maintenance of detailed program plans and tracking documents within tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, and PBI.
Process Improvement and Tool Management
* Act as a change agent to champion best practice PMO methodologies, continuous process improvement, and the standardisation and automation of workflows across the entire Program team.
* Contribute to the capability uplift of teams by providing practical guidance and coaching on enhanced processes.
* Assist the PMO Lead by taking ownership of specific projects and initiatives as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable experience (at a Program level) in a PMO capacity, supporting the delivery of a major IT Transformation initiative.
* Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining governance and control standards.
* Formal project management qualification and/or a deep working knowledge of established methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).
* Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills).
* Familiarity with collaborative platforms like SharePoint and MS Teams, as well as scheduling tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps.
* Advanced reporting skills, including hands-on experience using Power BI to construct actionable and high-quality dashboards.
* Solid experience in project planning and scheduling.
