We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join our team and support the Human Resources Manager in the delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality HR service within a complex and fast-paced healthcare environment. This influential role works in close partnership with executive leaders, managers and staff across the organisation, providing trusted advice and practical solutions across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding, employee and industrial relations, workforce management, policy development, reporting, training and a range of strategic HR projects.
As a key member of the HR team, you will oversee the workflow and day-to-day activities of the HR transactional activities, ensuring the timely, accurate and compliant delivery of HR services and employment documentation. You will play a critical role in supporting managers to navigate awards and enterprise agreements, manage performance and conduct disciplinary and grievance processes, while minimising organisational risk and promoting fair, consistent and best-practice outcomes. The role also involves extensive liaison with external stakeholders such as industry bodies, unions, recruitment agencies and regulatory authorities, requiring well-developed communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR generalist or business partner who thrives on balancing operational delivery with strategic input, enjoys working autonomously, and is committed to continuous improvement and professional development. If you are passionate about supporting leaders, building capability across the workforce and contributing to a positive, patient-centred and values-driven culture, we would welcome your application.
Our preferred candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
* Demonstrated broad experience in the provision of a range of HR generalist services or business partnering.
* Broad computer skills, with the confidence and ability to pick up the usage of a range of applications.
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
* Previous experience within a hospital or health care environment.
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
* Extensive experience in any (or all) of the following HR specialisations:
* Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding
