Join our team as an Associate Nurse Manager in a part time, ongoing or fixed term (June 2027) position working out of Monash Children's Hospital – Paediatric Medical Inpatient Unit at Clayton.

This is a clinical leadership role representing an integral link between the nursing and the broader leadership team. You will be approachable, articulate, and a mentor who leads by example. You'll thrive supporting nurses whilst working closely with the Nurse Manager to help drive the operational requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) of the department to deliver outstanding patient‐centred care.

* Staff performance review and development (Grade 2 Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses)

Aviary Ward at Monash Health is our 28-bed unit dedicated to providing specialised care in adolescent medicine, paediatric rehabilitation, and neurology services. Our experienced multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of young people. About You

You are an enthusiastic paediatric nurse who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are willing to commit to teamwork and ongoing professional development that align with our programs, values and vision.

Qualifications & Experience
* Able to demonstrate the ability to lead by example
* A leader in providing coaching and support to other nursing students and junior staff.
* Passionate about paediatric nursing and supporting patients and their families throughout an admission to the unit
* Enthusiastic, compassionate & able to work collaboratively
* Excited to be accountable for and manage specific portfolios in our relentless pursuit of excellence
* An advocate of Monash Health's Strategic Guiding Principles
* Experience as an ANM is desirable and leading a shift is essential
* Paediatric experience is essential in this role
* Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHRPA)
* Willingness to take on a portfolio(s) contributing to ward quality improvements and National Standards
* Hold a valid Working with Children Check
