The Opportunity
We need a talented Commercial Litigation Lawyer to work alongside and eventually take over from the Principal. This role offers exposure to sophisticated matters, direct client contact, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and run commercial disputes from initial instruction through to resolution.
* Draft pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and evidence.
* Conduct legal research and prepare strategic advice.
* Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
* Work closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies.
* Supervise junior lawyers and support staff (if applicable).
Requirements
* Admission to practice law in Victoria.
* 5+ years' experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
* Strong advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and client-management abilities.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
