BCHS is seeking a community-minded Non-Executive Director, who is passionate about the health and wellbeing of Bendigo. People with experience in technology and data governance, finance, risk management, business development, fundraising or law are especially welcome to apply.

Bendigo Community Health Services has cared for the health and wellbeing of the Bendigo community for 50 years. We employ more than 280 people across a broad range of services.
The success of BCHS starts with our staff, who have a high level of professionalism and dedication, allowing us to deliver quality services for the community, with a particular focus on vulnerable people.
To successfully apply for this position, you will need:
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
The particular skills required, as evidenced by qualifications and/or substantial experience are determined by the Board to meet the needs of a Skills Matrix/Skills Gap Analysis undertaken by the Board collectively, to determine the skills and knowledge needed to direct a modern health service. The skills sought at this time are one or more of the following, ordered in terms of priority set by the Board:
Technology and data governance.
Legal
A current employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Driver's Licence.
The preferred candidate will also be subject to probity checks including appropriate references and a National Police Check.
Understanding of the health system.
Experience as a director and an understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and ethics.
Knowledge of Bendigo and environs, particularly an understanding of the socio-economic and cultural makeup of Bendigo would be advantageous.
