Key Account Manager – Aftermarket Parts

Harry Maxwell has been engaged to conduct an executive search for an experienced Key Account Manager. Our client is a market leader in materials handling and drives aftermarket growth across key territories.

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for aftermarket parts, customer relationships, and technical solutions? We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – Aftermarket, Parts to join our high-performing team and help maximise growth across our key customer base. This is a pivotal role where you'll manage major accounts, identify new opportunities, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional aftermarket support.

About the Role

As the Key Account Manager – Aftermarket, Parts, you will be responsible for driving aftermarket revenue across your allocated territories. You'll build strong customer relationships, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure seamless delivery of aftermarket parts and services.

You will work closely with internal teams, including Aftermarket, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Capital Sales, to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and maximise long–term value.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and grow key aftermarket accounts across assigned territories
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
* Achieve and exceed sales and gross profit targets for aftermarket parts
* Prepare quotes, tenders, and budget estimates with accurate scopes of work
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, EPCMs, distributors, and industry partners
* Conduct site visits and equipment audits to identify new opportunities
* Use CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
* Provide market insights, pricing feedback, and variance reporting to management
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical and commercial matters
* Identify cross‐selling and up‐selling opportunities across Transmin products and services
* Support smooth customer transition from capital equipment to aftermarket engagement
* Participate in product training and represent the company at trade shows and expos

What You'll Bring

* Proven success in sales or business development within fixed mechanical equipment, OEM spares, parts, or similar industries
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical equipment or materials handling (advantageous)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills
* Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines
* Commercial awareness and a results‐driven mindset
* Strong CRM and reporting capability
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross‐functional teams
* Commitment to WHSEQ standards and Fitness for Work requirements
