South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) is inviting passionate and motivated Radiation Therapists to join a dynamic, forward thinking Radiotherapy service spanning Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals. Whether you're an experienced clinician or preparing to graduate, this is an opportunity to contribute to a service driven by innovation, quality, and exceptional patient care.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high quality, patient centred radiotherapy. Your work will support optimal outcomes through close collaboration with colleagues, active involvement in education and mentoring, and participation in quality improvement and research initiatives that advance the service.

Our Radiation Oncology Service operates across two comprehensive sites equipped with advanced technology:

* Campbelltown Hospital: 3 Elekta Linacs, Orthovoltage, Phillips CT
* Liverpool Hospital: 3 Elekta Linacs, Tomotherapy, Brachytherapy, Orthovoltage,a Siemens and Phillips CT, and a dedicated 3T Siemens MRI

* Hold a degree in Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy)
* Are eligible for AHPRA general registration and a NSW EPA Radiation User Licence
* Thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
* Are eager to contribute to education, mentoring, and continuous improvement
* Are motivated to develop your clinical skills across a diverse and technologically advanced service

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Have you successfully completed of a degree in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent qualification recognised by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or are you due to complete your degree within the next 3 months?
* Do you have full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Radiation Therapist? If you are currently pending receipt of an AHPRA registration please complete your application but confirmation of AHPRA registration will need to provided prior to commencement.
* Do you hold a Valid NSW EPA Radiation Licence? If not you will need to obtain this licence prior to commencement.
* Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, written and spoken, ability to relate with patients, carers and families, and the various staff groups within small teams and the wider the multi-disciplinary team.
* Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance, radiation safety principles and practices, and participation in incident reporting, site group meetings and adherence to NSW Health policies and guidelines.
* Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy planning and treatment, with multimodality image verification, conventional and advanced planning and treatment delivery that may include, but not restricted to, 4DCT and 4DCBCT, IMRT and VMAT, SRS and SABR techniques, DIBH and Seed Tracking.
