Job Overview
This is a key leadership position on site, responsible for executing project activities in a safe manner and achieving business objectives.
* Leading from the front and driving culture to deliver high-quality results;
* Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules;
* Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements;
* Providing effective leadership and supervision through 'on the ground' presence, direction, guidance and feedback to teams and individuals;
* Providing timely and accurate information to meet management requirements;
* Maintaining and adhering to the scheduling of project activities;
* Ensuring all contractual reporting is provided to management;
* Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely and in a timely manner;

Requirements:
* Experience in supervisory/management role within the mining and/or civil industry (essential);
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience/qualification) (highly regarded);
* S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (highly regarded);
* Demonstrated understanding of mining and/or civil plant and equipment operations and maintenance;
* Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings;
* Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;
* Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors;
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude;
* Desire to work in remote locations; and
* Have a hands-on approach.
