Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
About the Role
We want a Trades Assistant to join the Project Ceres team in Karratha on a 20:8 roster as a Mobile Plant & Equipment Inspector. In this role you will be responsible for conducting detailed scheduled inspections of mobile plant and equipment using company checklists, maintaining a strong focus on safety, and identifying defects that may impact reliability or lead to unplanned downtime. You will also ensure all faults are reported promptly to the Plant & Equipment Supervisor to support safe and efficient operations across site.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine inspections of mobile plant and equipment including trucks, loaders, forklifts, cranes, and elevated work platforms.
* Identify defects, wear, damage, or non‐compliance with company safety standards.
* Complete inspection checklists accurately and report faults for corrective action.
* Perform functional testing with operators to verify brakes, hydraulics, steering, and attachments are operating safely.
* Ensure all materials handling and inspections comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Construction White/Blue Card.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Current C Class Manual Driver's License.
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
* Full Working Rights in Australia.
