About the role
As a Solar Roofer at SIPENERGY, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops. This is a Casual role- Full-time for the right person based in Sydney, NSW. You will play a crucial role in SIPENERGY's mission to transition homes and businesses to renewable energy sources.
What you'll be doing
* Carefully assess and prepare rooftop surfaces for solar panel installation
* Install solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical components
* Ensure all work meets or exceeds safety and quality standards
* Collaborate with the wider SIPENERGY installation team to complete projects on time and on budget
* Provide excellent customer service and address any customer questions or concerns
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of SIPENERGY's installation processes
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a solar roofer or in a similar trades role
* Strong working knowledge of solar panel installation and electrical systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Physically fit and able to work at heights
* Relevant trade certifications or qualifications
