We're seeking experienced Contractor Rehabilitation Counsellors to deliver high-quality vocational rehabilitation services across a range of schemes including workers' compensation, CTP, and government-funded programs across the following regions:
* Newcastle
* Coffs Harbour
* Port Macquarie
* Lismore
* Dubbo
About the opportunity
As a contractor, you'll enjoy autonomy and flexibility while working with a supportive multidisciplinary team. You'll provide tailored rehabilitation services to clients experiencing injury, illness, or disability—helping them achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments
* Develop and implement individualised return-to-work plans
* Provide counselling and support for physical and psychological injuries
* Liaise with employers, insurers, and health professionals
* Maintain accurate case notes and meet compliance standards
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology
* Full registration with ASORC, AASW or APHRA
* Considerable experience working in occupational rehabilitation and proven track record of contracting with other clients
* Strong communication and case management skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
* Full driver's licence and own vehicle
