About this Role
We're looking for a talented Behaviour Analyst to contribute to our Early Childhood Supports team in North Melbourne. As a Behaviour Analyst, you'll form part of a collaborative team and report to the Head of the Early Childhood Supports team in Victoria.
Responsibilities
* We need someone who can conduct comprehensive assessments and identify the most suitable options for our participants.
* You will work closely with participants, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide effective therapeutic support and achieve the best possible outcomes.
* The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to deliver person-centered practices and provide interventions tailored to individual needs.
* They must be able to analyse and interpret assessment results, sharing these findings with relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
* Additionally, the successful candidate will supervise and mentor Behaviour Therapists, helping them develop their skills and progress towards certification.
* Appropriate training and support will also be provided to identify and develop additional support programs, including internal referrals.
Required Skills
* A postgraduate degree in Behaviour Analysis or a related field is essential.
* Certification as a Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) with ABA Australia or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with the BACB is mandatory.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
* Providing behaviour analytic services to children and adolescents across various settings is crucial.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for preparing technical documents.
* Proven time management skills, handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, are essential.
* Supervising and mentoring Behaviour Therapists is a key responsibility.
* A valid driver's licence and vehicle are necessary for travel between locations.
