About the Role
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team and provide quality care to participants in Drouin, VIC. As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in assisting individuals to live independently while supporting their daily needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred support to participants in their home and community
* Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities
* Support participants with community access, social activities and medication administration
* Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
* Follow individual support plans and document progress
* Maintain professional and respectful relationships with participants and families
Requirements
* Previous experience in disability support or community care is preferred
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
* National Police Check
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (preferred)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude

Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience with autism, epilepsy, and behaviour management
* Confident with personal care and medication administration
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care
* Reliable, calm, and consistent approach
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, and CPR required
Availability: Flexible availability for rotating rosters; consistent staff preferred.
Additional Notes: Confidential client information—details to be shared post-screening.
What The Client Has Specifically Requested- Under their right for 'Choice & Control'
* Participant Specific– Male SW - Clients request due to Behaviours of Concern
* Someone Capable Of Communicating When At Low Capacity For Verbal Communication.
* Personal Care Required: Self-dress And Grooming, Showering/Bathing
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in disability or aged care, or a related field
* Has experience with Personal care
* Able to work autonomously and in a team
* Valid Driver's Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
* Current or willing to obtain:
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
