In order to continue supporting our important work for Northumbrian Water, we are now seeking a Senior to Principal grade Mechanical Engineer to join us in Newcastle.ResponsibilitiesInvolved in the full project life cycle, from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and construction support, including site surveys and investigations.Lead mechanical design for infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater treatment plants, conveyance systems, pumping stations and more.Work closely with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to deliver positive project outcomes.Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.About You / QualificationsDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject; ideally Chartered status or working toward.Experience in detailed design within the water industry; background working for/with delivery contractors would be beneficial.For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities to take on line management responsibilities.Why Join Us?
