Your current role as the Plant Mechanic for PSG will be reporting to the PSG Supervisor. 
About PSG PSG is a FIFO service department, supporting WA with skilled maintenance personnel. 
We handle warranty support, shutdowns, and labour hire roles, equipped with service vehicles and tools. 
Location: FIFO 
Roster – 8 days on, 6 days off OR 4 days on, 3 off (12.5 hr shifts, including 30-minute unpaid meal break) 
What you’ll do 
- You will be part of a team to complete rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment. 
- You will work on a variety of equipment which includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992/994 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (789 – 793F). 
Skills & Experience 
- Ability to work night shifts, additional hours and weekends/extra days as required to support the team 
- Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification 
- Experience on C175 CAT Engines is highly regarded and will guide you to success within this role 
- Caterpillar product knowledge, ideally component change out experience 
- Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) desirable
