The RoleOur client, a fast-growing scale-up business with exciting growth plans and recent backing from PE investors, is looking to appoint a talented Corporate Development Analyst to join their high-performing team in Sydney. Reporting to the Corporate Development Manager, this role offers direct exposure to the Chief Financial Officer and senior leadership, providing unique opportunities to contribute to the company's strategic growth agenda. 
You will play a key role in supporting M&A;, fundraising, strategy, and other corporate initiatives that drive long-term value creation. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to make an impact from day 1. 
Key Responsibilities:Support strategic projects including M&A;, capital raising, partnerships, and new market entryConduct financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis to inform decision-makingResearch and analyse industry trends, competitors, and investment opportunitiesPrepare Board and investor presentations, pitch materials, and business casesPartner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Product to deliver insights and support execution 
The ideal candidate:c.2–3 years’ experience in Big 4 valuations/modelling/advisory, investment banking, corporate development or deal-related fields.Strong financial modelling capability is fundamental for success in this role.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely.Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a growth-stage business.
