About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Fitter (or mechanic with agricultural experience) to join our GFM team. Based locally, this role offers stability, variety, and the chance to be home every night — not working away.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities & Maintenance, you'll work across our Wallaville and Bargara sites to keep our fleet operating at its best. This includes:
* Maintaining and servicing 20+ Caterpillar assets and 50+ John Deere machines
* Providing breakdown support across a wide range of farm and irrigation equipment
* Troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
* Working safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team
About You
* Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanic
* Experience with earthmoving or agricultural machinery is desirable
* Practical problem‐solver with a strong work ethic
* Safety‐focused, reliable, and a good communicator
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
