MAC Trade Services is a leader in energy efficiency and sustainability solutions. Founded in 2014, MAC has grown to become one of the largest energy services companies in South Australia, upgrading more than 5,000 homes and businesses every year. We also operate in New South Wales and Victoria, helping more homes and businesses access energy-efficient solutions and government rebates. We support the biggest energy retailers in the delivery of their annual emissions saving targets and are expanding these services to all States

The MAC team provide a wide range of behind-the-meter energy services, from Lighting upgrades though to Hot water, batteries, refrigeration, heating and cooling as well as EV charging stations. Our engineering team have designed, built and commissioned some of the largest solar and battery projects in Australia, building distributed energy resources and demand response assets throughout the National Energy Market.

As our People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll work closely with leaders across the business to deliver strategic and operational HR support. You’ll champion initiatives that enhance employee experience, drive performance, and foster a culture of trust and continuous improvement.

Key areas of responsibility

* Partner with leaders to align people & culture strategies with business goals
* Oversee recruitment, retention, and diversity strategies
* Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
* Manage performance, remuneration, and workforce reporting
* Support grievance resolution and employee relations.

What you'll bring

* Hands on attitude with strong relationship-building skills
* Excellent communicator and empathetic listener
* Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused
* Passionate about continuous learning and team development
* 5+ years’ experience in generalist HR roles
* Strong knowledge of HR/IR practices and legislation
* Sound experience with Employment Hero.
