Job Title: Aerospace Systems Specialist
At our organization, we design and manufacture innovative aircraft systems. As an experienced professional in the field of avionics, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of these systems.
This role is based at RAAF Base Townsville in tropical North Queensland and supports the Apache Program.
Working side by side with our Australian Defence Force Customer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, servicing, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, associated components and associated equipment.
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) shall also supervise other AMEs and provide mentorship to subordinate technicians in the development of their pathway to success.
Requirements
* Hold a DASR Part 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) - Category B2:
- Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework
- Previous experience as a maintenance certifier / trade supervisor (E62 Exclusion removed):
* A high level of verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit and organisational goals
* Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
* Have a working knowledge of computer-based maintenance management systems
* Able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance of NV1
