TP Human Capital is partnering with a government client in Townsville (on-site role) to find an exceptional Change Manager for their exciting Information Management Project.
This is a contractual role through to 30 June 2026, offering an attractive hourly rate of up to $75 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Around 5 + years of experience as a Change Manager or a similar role in a complex organization.
* Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Assemble and lead project teams, assigning tasks and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and customers
* Define and sequence project activities, estimating task durations to develop and maintain accurate schedules
* Estimate project budgets and monitor spend against budget, reporting variances
* Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring deliverables align with expectations
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact
* Monitor project progress, adjust resources as needed, and track performance against plans
* Prepare and deliver tailored status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and resolutions
* Apply effective change management practices including scope control and solution deployment
* Lead project meetings, manage expectations, and facilitate issue resolution
* Manage concurrent projects with a focus on delivery, resource allocation, and stakeholder satisfaction
Key Requirements
* Significant industry experience in project or program management across Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Formal Project or Program Management qualifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
* ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred
* Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex projects across diverse stakeholder groups
* Strong communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills
