THE OPPORTUNITY
Stratco Pty Ltd are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Interior Designer/Estimator to join the Gepps Cross team.
Reporting to the National Shed & Garages Manager, this position will conduct the designing, CAD drawing and estimating of residential Class 1a liveable domestic buildings and domestic/commercial sheds, including the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM's) to ensure they are ready to be manufactured efficiently and effectively.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
Location: Gepps Cross, SA
Remuneration: $ 73,150 - $80,000 base salary per annum based on relevant skills and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Apply interior design principles to optimize spatial layouts for Class 1a liveable domestic buildings & Class 10 domestic and Class 8 commercial sheds and warehouses.
o Incorporate design solutions to meet our customers’ needs and enhance the overall appeal of their building design.
o Work closely with Architects, Commercial Builders, Engineers, Industrial Designers, Product Designers and Drafters to assist with incorporating interior design features into shed designs.
o Preparation of detailed shed design documentation to present to the customer, including CAD drawings, building specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) lists.
o Manage and provide regular updates and communication to customers on the progress of design tasks within shed projects.
o Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
o Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
o Essential – Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture or similar
o Essential - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment
o High level of accuracy and attention to detail
o Confident communicator across various internal and external stakeholders
o Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
